After months of preparation from the production team, the degree workers of the bodies, and the Valley staff, the Spring Class arrived this past Saturday, November 9!
As brothers and candidates from across the Commonwealth and nation descended upon Grand Lodge, the plans were put into action. Breakfast was ready with all the essentials, french toast, fruit, pastries and most importantly, coffee! More than 30 candidates attended and more than 200 Valley Brethren were checked at the door.
With the sun up and everyone awake, the class began with the video conferral of the 4° upon the candidates. Throughout the day, Lodge of Perfection presented the 14°, Princes of Jerusalem the 15°, Rose Croix the 18°, and Consistory the 20° and 32°.
Our new Grandmaster of Masons in Massachusetts, Most Worshipful George F. Hamilton was present and was received by Rose Croix.
With the business of the day done, a great collation and social hour followed to officially welcome the newest member of the Valley!
