The Valley’s Annual Three Body Installation of Officers is fast approaching on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Grand Lodge, Boston. This year’s Installation will see Thrice Potent Master Peter Grimm, 33° pass the gavel of Boston Lafayette Lodge of Perfection to Deputy Master Joseph DeNicola, 32°.
A buffet-style dinner will precede the Installation at 5:30 p.m. in the Sub-Basement, and the Installation will begin at 7:00 p.m. This is a closed event (members only). Remember to bring your dues card, they will be checked at the door.
After the Installation, the 7° and 17° degrees will be performed in Gothic Hall. The 7° (Provost and Judge) teaches us to render justice to all mankind by dramatizing a dispute among the workmen where honesty and justice prevail. This degree helps us reflect on our duties as moral leaders, not only within the fraternity but also within society. The 17° (Knight of East and West) teaches that we must seek truth in our way of life, and should learn from, and avoid, repeating the errors of the past. This degree encourages us to reflect on the deeper moral and spiritual duties of a Mason, urging us to focus on the eternal struggle for truth and goodness.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, April 23. Space will be limited to only 110 tickets, so register as soon as possible.
