Valleymen Installed as Grand Lodge Officers

On December 27, 2024, the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts held its annual installation during the Feast of St. John. The Valley of Boston was well represented with several of our members being installed in Grand Lodge! This year’s line includes from the Valley:

Masters of the Rite

As part of its acclaimed Thursday Night at the Rite program, Supreme Council proudly announced Masters of the Rite, an all new companion program! Masters provides you with the opportunity to learn more about the degrees you just witnessed as part of an interactive, live workshop led by Ill∴ William “Sandy” Karstens IV, 33°.

These workshops are not required but are designed to enhance the degrees you just viewed.

2025 Abbott Scholarship

The 2025-2026 Abbott Scholarship is officially available! The scholarship helps students who are connected to the fraternity to continue their education at an accredited institution of higher education. Ill∴ Leon M. Abbott, whom the scholarship is named after, was a member of the Valley of Boston, the Thrice Potent Master of Boston Lafayette Lodge of Perfection from 1904 to 1906, and Sovereign Grand Commander of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction from 1921 to 1932.

Our scholarships are investments in the future of both our country and fraternity. Students are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
